TORM Shareholder Launches Secondary Offering of 6.3M Shares
OCM Njord Holdings initiates a secondary public offering of over 6.3 million TORM Class A common shares on Nasdaq.
TORM plc, the Denmark-based tanker company traded on Nasdaq under the ticker TRMD, announced Monday the launch of a secondary public offering involving 6,329,874 of its Class A common shares. The shares are being sold by existing shareholder OCM Njord Holdings S.à r.l., not by TORM itself.
Because the offering is classified as secondary, TORM will not receive any proceeds from the transaction. All sale revenue will flow directly to the selling shareholder, OCM Njord Holdings, a structure commonly used when institutional investors seek to reduce or exit their stake in a publicly traded company.

The announcement was made from the company's headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark. TORM operates in the product tanker segment, transporting refined petroleum products globally. Secondary offerings of this scale can introduce short-term price pressure on a stock as the market absorbs the additional share supply, though they do not dilute existing shareholders since no new shares are being created.
No pricing terms or underwriters were disclosed in the initial announcement. Investors and analysts will be watching for the final offering price and settlement details as the transaction moves forward.
